Seriously, what is the deal with Amazing Baby? Who the hell are they sleeping with to continue to get decent (ish) bookings?

The few times I've had to endure them as they opened for a band I actually wanted to see, 'amazing' came to mind only in context of 'it's amazing that someone put them on the bill.'

2:08- From what I've gathered, they're a bunch of moderately talented but totally uninspired fuckwits who are buddy-buddy with MGMT. They seem to believe that by saturating the market with their product, they will inevitably win the adoration of a large fanbase and music critics. They wallpaper Williamsburg with advertisements for upcoming shows and free album downloads (at Mountain Dew's website, no less), thinking this will endear them to us. But they just come off as privileged, disconnected and desperate.

check out amazing baby interviews on youtube and try to count the times the lead singer says the word "definitely." you could DEFINITELY make a drinking game about it. TARD.

ps: obviously the band sucks too but that goes without saying

awesome, 2:26. they are awful and get decent opening slots for much better bands. i just hope the band is aware of their awfulness and not just clueless.

nah they're aware, if talked to a few of them before and i don't think any of them really think they'll be making a career out of this band. record sales are super slow i know for them
