Dogs are absolutely the worst doctors in the world, and I do not feel badly making such a statement. Poor hygiene, useless with their 'hands,' constant inarticulate rambling, impossible to work with, etc.... As a nurse myself, I will not work with a dog doctor, it's just impossible. My cousin, went into surgery for a herniated disc and sure enough, it was a dog doctor, now she doesn't have a pelvis and lost a kidney I believe too. Next time you're thinking about seeing Dr. Dog, think again.

You know the story behind this band name: these guys were all upstate in university and realized that they were all simultaneously doing doctorates on "when dogs run free" by bob dylan "black dog" by led zeppelin, and of course Snoop Dogg.
One of the craziest stories ive ever heard. For all of you who dont believe in coincidences; believe that.

To: "Urban Grilling"... your story about Dr. dog's name is purely an urban myth... these guys do not have doctorates, they did not all go to school upstate, etc. funny ..how people who do not know these guys at all make up crazy stories about them or their songs or their name, etc. And, also, they are not hippies...Go and see them live and talk to them..
