Same experience here. I really don't trust ticketmaster at all. I wonder how many of these tickets found their way into the hands of scalper/ticketmaster owned reseller sights. Oh well.

"jeez, get a frigging job...." what?

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:32 PM

No tickets for me..

I think my plan for the Bunnymen show is to sneak into the basement the night before and hide there till doors open.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:35 PM

I was waiting on the ticketmaster site and refreshed at exactly noon. Got 2 tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:41 PM

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:54 PM

Echo auctions are showing up on ebay as well as Craigslist.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 1:22 PM

How would echo auctions or craigslist sales even work? They are not doing anything but will call with a govt ID and you have to go in immediately when you pick them up.

You meet the scalper at the Mercury Lounge..He walks into the venue and says two for "Joe Scalper" and shows his id..The door person crosses you names off the list then he waves to you goodbye and goes about ripping someone else off.

no tickets available for Echo at noon, one minute later it was sold out. Make no sense, typical snobbery shit, probably all the press and VIPs will be there and they won't even know who the fuck these guys are, they just want to say "I saw Echo and the Rabbit at Mercury Lounge and it was awesome"

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 3:31 PM
