First Fridays @ the Guggenheim - Dam-Funk x Ge-ology tonight (wear red and get in free)

The Guggenheim Museum is holding a First Friday event tonight with Dam-Funk. It's $25 for non-members, BUT "The first one hundred guests to arrive wearing red clothing, shoes, or accessories will receive free admission courtesy Côtes Du Rhône." More details below...
...
On October 2, Dam-Funk brings his distinctive West Coast musical style rooted in the early-'80s boogie, modern soul, and electro-funk to the Guggenheim's rotunda. He's joined by Brooklyn-based DJ Ge-ology, and together they will take you on an eclectic musical journey as you ascend the Guggenheim's spiraling ramp to see Kandinsky, the exhibition described by the New York Times as "sensational." During your visit, see how Kandinsky took inspiration from music in his pioneering efforts toward abstraction.Wear Red, Get in Free

The first one hundred guests to arrive wearing red clothing, shoes, or accessories will receive free admission courtesy Côtes Du Rhône.$25, free for Guggenheim members

"not a very good deal."
or you can just pay to get in. Or you can buy something red that costs less than $25 and save money AND have a new piece of clothing.

The $25 cover includes admission to the Kandinsky exhibition, which is ordinarily $18 during general museum hours. So for an extra $7, you can attend a party in an amazing architectural space, drink, view art, and listen to good music.
