Like Broadcast and Atlas Sound, Mum and Sin Fang Bous were on a larger national tour that happened to hit NYC during CMJ. To be specific, the Icelandic groups played Le Poisson Rouge on Saturday night (10/24). More pictures from that show below...

What was with the stupid fight that broke out during Sin Fang Bous??? This was LPR and at a super mellow show. It wasn't as if we were at a Metallica show! Way to represent NYC.

haha...that was ridiculous! some photog (not from bv) was a prick to ALL of the people front and center...
these are the pricks that give photogs a bad name. constant flash, constant lens in between the ears of two friends, etc.
basically a dude in the front asked the photog politely to stop moving back and forth through the crowd, bumping into everyone, etc. photog replied with something to the effect of - i dont give a fck...i have to photograph. more words...more words...then the pushing started.
sindri (is that the lead singers name?) had no idea what was up. fckd that it was during one of their better songs, clangour and flutes.
id love to find out what blog/mag this guy was from...what a douche.

He first said he was working for Mum that night, then said he was working for BV. The BV Photog denied this. So where did he photos go, who knows?
He and his drunk stank girlfriend hit two people and two other girls, the stank also scratched my back. Security pulled them out, they lied to get back up to the front and were still talking and acting rude and drunk.
It was going to be a mellow show...
