presale tickets are SOLD OUT. Remember when the term "indie" was actually called "alternative"?

A better headline: Everybody Else is Doing It, So Why Can't We?

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:48 AM

You knew the song because you heard it on mainstream radio.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:53 AM

why all the hating? the cranberries are awesome

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:54 AM

Your girlfriend likes to hear their song, Linger.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:54 AM

Remember when Irish rock bands promoted peace? U2 and the Cranberries. They're hot whether the song you currently listen to is mainstream or not.

Posted by Anonmous | October 2, 2009 11:57 AM

You can be sure multiple nights will be added. They have gaps inbetween shows in big cities. I am expecting at least 3 NYC shows.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:57 AM

No Need to Argue.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:59 AM

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 11:59 AM

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:02 PM

Uh oh, here comes the Skinny Puppy fluffer...

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:02 PM

leftover pizza, nachos and popcorn, 90s cassette tapes on the couch.

Dolores can take it up a notch.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:11 PM

Very odd...I happened to put on the Cranberries yesterday and there was a discussion on what happened to them and that they should reunite. Guess other people felt the same.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:12 PM

Dolores O'riordan with Pavarotti.

Need I say more.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:14 PM

Can you sing Ave Maria along with Pavarotti?

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:17 PM

What's the story morning glory?...yeah Oops, Oasis song, my bad.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:34 PM

Do you have to let it linger?

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:34 PM

You got me wrapped around your finger.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:43 PM

I LOVE that song "Dreams"

the one that ends with her and that dude singing backup vocals like TARZAN.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 12:52 PM

Remember when "alternative" was called "progressive"?

Posted by Regular reader | October 2, 2009 1:08 PM

I hope, for the sake of the attendees, that The Cranberries do not play "Just my imagination".

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 1:14 PM

New York called "progressive" state?

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 1:23 PM

1:08- that's funny. i think that may have been worse than 'alternative'. i had a girlfriend from scotland who was very upset by that term for political reasons.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 1:59 PM

Learn your genre. please thank you. Progressive evolved during 60-70s era. Remember George W.?

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 2:08 PM

i appreciated the sprinkling of "Zombie" lyrics throughout the post.

Posted by Anonymous | October 2, 2009 2:56 PM

Posted by Anonymous | October 3, 2009 12:23 AM

not feeding your puppies can lead to skinny puppies and poor puppy malnutrition.

I second albertacowpoke's question...

Posted by lv louis | October 18, 2009 8:54 AM

...People have been asking for them...& now touring all over the world... sold out concerts... AMAZING VOICE..lyrics..music.. The Cranberries are one of the best alternative bands out there & I am glad they are back! ;)

Posted by patoirlove | November 22, 2009 1:57 AM

All you haters fucking suck. I went to the Hampton beach show and I was front row. FUCKING AMAZING! and to the person who said you hope they don't play just my imagination...they did and it was amazing. so all you haters get over yourselves, I'm sure none of you can sing at all let alone as good as dolores. Or as other people said be invited by pavoratti to sing with him.
