What are you doing on Halloween?
According to eMusic, the above picture is John McCauley of Deer Tick as a California Raisin for Halloween. They also collected pictures from Bon Iver, Black Mountain, Dawes, The Black Lips, and many others.
This year Deer Tick is going to be The Sex Pistols for Halloween, a fine choice of activities for that evening, though I may not be able to pass up partying like it's 1994 with Bad Brains & The Jesus Lizard instead. If I do, I'll definitely regret missing the Mt. Eerie show at Market Hotel. And hopefully I'll make it to at least some of the parade.

I don't think 2:09 has accurate information unless he/she knows something withheld from the public... this is on The Very Best's myspace blog.
"Cancelled show on USA tour...
were super sorry and gutted we had to cancell all the shows so far on the USA tour. we where applying for another visa which took longer than we where told and esau's passport was held. we finally got the passport back and will do the last leg on the tour startin on staurday in new york! sooo sorry and we hope to be back soon and make up for this fuckup.

As a greenwich village resident, I can't decide what I hate more, the halloween parade or pride. Both are great to experience once, then just miserable fucking inconveniences for everyone who lives in a 10 block radius of them. Ucch, so annoying.
