Coalesce released OX EP (MP3s), played FFF Fest (pics)

Yellow pages have not been able to confirm a Cobra Kai dojo in Kansas City, but Coalesce are definitely living by the way of their sensei: "Mercy is for the weak". The OX LP, their first album in 10 years, was released in June and is already creeping on to many year-end short lists, and now the KC crew have hit the public with part II; the OX EP is out NOW via Relapse Records! Download a pair of tracks from the OX EP above, and order the EP with a Coalesce knife (not to be confused with the Khanate knife that surfaced earlier this year).
Though a force a nature all their own, Coalesce battled the elements (it was pouring rain during their set) at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, along with a cast of some of heavy music's finest like DRI (who may or may not be playing NYC), Danzig, Reign Supreme, Melt Banana, Austin's The Roller, and many other faves. More pictures from Coalesce's performance at that show are below.
Coliseum was also on hand for the killer festival, and they will join Coalesce when the pair team up with A Storm of Light, Your Skull My Closet, and Tournament for the BV-sponsored show at Europa on 12/30. Tickets are on sale.
BV is also proud to sponsor Shrinebuilder/Rwake/Liturgy at LPR in NYC on 11/15 (tix still available). And speaking of Austin, tickets are also still available for a Shrinebuilder show happening at Emo's the day after the NYC show.
BV is also sponsoring Dark Castle/The Atlas Moth/Wetnurse/Tiger Flowers at Union Pool on 11/17, and (Special Guest), Javelina, Black Tusk, and Batillus at The Charleston on 11/18. What a week!
Coalesce has no other shows scheduled. More pictures from FFFFest, below...

Yes that is correct, and it is written above. Thanks for pointing that out though

Dewees is no longer in the group. He found other projects during their ten-year hiatus. Amiable parting of ways.
Nathan Richardson Jr. is the new drummer, and is awesome.
