Dirty Projectors & Roots @ Bowery Ballroom (more)
Dirty roots

The collaboration continues. It all started when the Dirty Projectors appeared on Fallon and impressed the Roots who then showed up to play some songs with the band at Bowery Ballroom last week. Now, Amber and Haley (no Angel) from the Dirty Projectors helped the Roots (who were on a float with Fallon in the Thanksgiving Day Parade today) fill out the backing band for Mos Def (his song) and Talib Kweli on Fallon last night (11/25). Video below...

once you go hip-hop, you can't say 'stop!'

wonderful stuff. No reason indie and hip hop can't come together. I mean c'mon did Antony not guest on a straight up disco/house album? this work as well.
