Do these lists always have to include really bad mainstream rap for good measure? cant you dig deeper and at least go for some indie hip hop? for shame, seriously

this list actually isn't that bad, def. seen worse.

I preferred the p2k top 50 tracks

Panda Bear in top song & album was kinda shameless

is BOB actually among anybody's top 3 or 4 outkast tracks?

Posted by Anonymous | November 27, 2009 10:54 PM

good list, but i will have to pick ...and you will know us by the trail of dead («source tags & codes» as album and «another morning stoner» as song of the decade).

The decade ends 12/31/2010.

I'd probably read GvsB more often if the front page didn't take so long to load.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2009 9:38 AM

I'd probably read GvsB more often if it got the fuck out of Pitchfork's ass.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2009 10:19 AM

was Outkast really that good? Nah.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2009 10:42 AM

32 Slimm Calhoun feat. Andre 3000 | it's okay

amazing

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2009 11:10 AM

BOB was p4k's number one song of the decade...

I tried making one of these lists once. I gave up when I realized there was no good way to possibly compare songs from completely different genres. I could maybe narrow it down to my top 100, but I wouldn't be able to put it in any discernible order. Everyone just bitches and moans about "Why isn't [insert song here] on there?" But I guess it gives these websites hits from us music geeks that love to debate.

Erykah Badu = anti-Semite

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2009 7:05 PM

@4:51pm

Looking for a way to differentiate genres? Try this. Rap should almost never be taken seriously. Ever.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2009 6:32 PM

Top 6 pretty much untouchable IMO, but thought Paper Planes should have been much high. Victim of its own success i think!

Posted by Sean | November 29, 2009 9:51 PM

i think half of these artists deserve to be up there.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2009 9:55 PM

That's very informative! A lot of songs huh. I know a few from that top 40 artists, lang J. Timberlake, R. Kelly, etc.
