Pittsburgh's purveyors of skronky noise rock, (((microwaves))), are heading out for a short set of US dates including a NYC show at Cake Shop on 11/20 with Manikin, Imaginary Icons, and Ill Ease. More details to come.
Microwaves's last LP Contagion Heuristic was released on Crucial Blast, and is recommended for fans of everything from Am Rep to Sightings, Lightning Bolt, and even Parts & Labor's noisier side. Pick up that LP here.

Does anyone here utilize a microwave to warm up leftover hummus? I would be really curious to know how it affects its consistancy.
