And in Denver, where Colorado's medical marijuana industry is legally flourishing, there are these two recent job postings:

The alternative newspaper Westword is advertising for a pot reviewer, asking for a short essay from applicants on "What Marijuana Means to Me".

Similarly, a new biotech company, Full Spectrum Laboratories, needs scientists to test the potency of cannabis samples and salesmen to market their quality-control [ABC News]

Dinosaur Jr. was the musical guest for the second (2pm) show today. Darrell from Run DMC was the dancy dance guest and Biz Markie was in person to do "Biz's Beat of the Day!" Pretty great experience for me and my family! I got great video of Dinosaur Jr doing their song "Bananas." I'm guessing that's what it's called 'cause that's what they were singing about!

@2:32 I was told by a group of "phish heads" that in order to be a true fan, it is forbidden to listen to AC/DC. Apparently its an insider knowledge that only the serious fans know about. You must not be as high up in the phish underground as these people are.

I hate kiddie-friendly rock. There I said it. This putrid trend needs to end soon. I'm looking at you Dan Zanes, They Might Be Giants and Devo. It's a creepy way to make easy money under the guise of "silly fun." The reality is you weirdos are hoping for lucrative brand loyalty from a young demographic and their prissy psuedo-bohemian parents. Please fucking stop.
