These Are Powers and Lone Wolf and Cub, a drum and trapeze act, provided the musical portion of a benefit at the Issue Project Room back on October 9th. The night was dedicated to Issue Project Room founder and artistic director Suzanne Fiol, who recently passed. Part of the event was the premiere of TAP's video for their song "Candyman," which was filmed in the Issue Project Room's future home at 110 Livingston St. You can see the space in the video below, with more pictures of the event.

Next weekend, Issue Project Room hosts the Darmstadt Essential Repertoire festival on December 3rd, 4th & 5th. Tickets are now on sale for all three dates. Their only other scheduled event before then is an "all night free open audio & video jam" on November 29th.

These Are Powers played for the year's last NYC Cinema 16 of the year on Saturday, November 21st at Galapagos. The next gig for the band is a DJ night at the Bell House front room called Ice Rink on December 1st.

that video made me literally want to gouge out my eyes. Might have been the gayest song I've ever heard. Pointless GARBAGE! I haven't seen a band more obviously trying to have the next "hit" song in a long time. PATHETIC!!! The singer is so fucking annoying.
That's Pat from Liars... right? How long ago did he have his balls removed?
