Anyone know what kind of camera Nick uses? That is his camera that Bao took right?

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 1:45 AM

Nick who? Nick Zinner?

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 1:55 AM

The Residents want their eyeball back kids.
She looks like a gross sickly fashion victim.

And by the new phone consumers.

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 2:18 AM

Yes....Nick Zinner....anyone know what kind of camera he uses?

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 3:21 AM

I don't blame them, artists don't get much from album sales these days, so they gots to get their chicken scratch somehow. Besides, YYY's are awesome and I love secret shows! Happy happy, Joy Joy...

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 6:07 AM

it's not much of a secret now, is it?

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 7:10 AM

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "SECRET SHOW"

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 7:59 AM

well, there is such thing as a "secret show" but not a secret show

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 8:16 AM

More like a "secret" show.

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 9:26 AM

'secret' show would also be acceptable, no?

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 9:52 AM

I love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. This new Droid product seems interesting. I'll certainly have to check it out; if it has the support of one of my favorite bands, it must be worthwhile. I mean, I am considering buying one just to go to this concert! I would do anything for the YYYs!!! Thanks so much for caring about the fans

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 9:57 AM

Cha-ching,cha-ching,Cha-ching!

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 10:24 AM

So if you buy a phone, you get a "free" ticket. So essentally it's a 200-500 dollar ticket.

8:16 is very perceptive and the rest of you are lucky that he's around.

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 11:58 AM

Ok Anonymous 11:51am...please elaborate!

P.S. Anon 11:19am....at least he doesn't take photos with his phone like you.

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 11:59 AM

@6:07 - Do you know why artists don't get much from album sales these days? Because you steal their music. You steal money directly from the band and apparently force them to shill for the corporation who makes the electronic device that you'll load their stolen music on to. Is that ironic or what? I'm not sure.

Posted by billy zygote | November 4, 2009 12:07 PM

hope they hire tight security group for this party

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 12:36 PM

Oh C'mon, remember when The Beatles played the show for General Motors, Rolling Stone played the show for Exxon Mobile, and Led Zeppelin played the show for AT&T?

Uhh.. kill your television. Or something.

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 12:43 PM

i dont think its a suprise that the YYYs would do this, they are a big enough band. i think it is a suprise if they fill a room full of people paying $200+ to see them

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 12:54 PM

What's the capacity at the "church"....I remember seeing M ward there couple years ago....what was it like 800?

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 12:57 PM

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 1:01 PM

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 2:20 PM

Every time you say Droid, Lucas Films gets paid.

Posted by Anonymous | November 4, 2009 2:25 PM

Ran into the Droid street team across from Cake Shop. They gave me four codes for their ticket giveaway. Won with the second code I entered. Pretty painless.

Nick's camera is a Fuji GA645

@ 12:43:
I remember when the Stones wrote a jingle for Rice Krispies...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZBmhEMFdl0

So what's your point?

Posted by Anonymous | November 5, 2009 2:56 PM

I might be wrong but I think Anon12:43 was trying to say that you can't single out or try and persecute YYYs for doing this...bands have been doing commercial tie-ins since the dawn of rock & roll and if you don't like it...don't watch *the proverbial television* or participate.

Posted by blackhat | November 5, 2009 3:30 PM

so, i got the stupid phone - nobody in the store knows how do i get tix with this..any ideas? thanks!
