"Rad Replacements-y project"

Repeat the phrase out loud:

"Rad Replacements-y project"

Where do I puke?

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 3:23 PM

on yourself when you hear meet me in the city.
babies are great.

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 3:43 PM

babies, girls, men and women, have we officially run out of good band names?

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 4:10 PM

they even have matching ripped jeans, adorable

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 4:29 PM

The impossible-to-google band name collection.

CHIXXX!!!!!!!

Posted by anonymous | December 19, 2009 5:22 PM

Babies play first or last?

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 5:24 PM

3:23, I guess I don't follow you here. What's objectionable exactly? Sounds like you're maybe just an asshole.

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 5:34 PM

hawties in this band

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 6:17 PM

the babies is a stupid name. I dont care if they are good, I couldnt ever see my self busting out a babies record and telling some chic, "hey baby, wanna put this babies record on?"
I wouldnt ever be able to respect myself again...
I agree with 4:10, seems like we have ran out of good names. Personally I think "Hermins Hermits" was the greatest name in history.

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 6:25 PM

Hermin's Hummus

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 6:37 PM

The Babies are a great band!

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 7:15 PM

I'd consider it a compliment if the name I chose for my band was called stupid be somebody who couldn's spell, type or use punctuation correctly!

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 7:20 PM

I like the name

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 9:30 PM

anon 7:20 now your acting like a baby.

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 9:43 PM

she got some bad tat's

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 10:12 PM

especially fucking stupid ass diareaha of the internet on this thread tonight

fucking idiots, why do you think anyone wants to hear you talk?

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2009 10:25 PM

^obviously anon 10:25 is one of the people in the babies. Probably the girl too, she looks annoying as hell.
Could you imagine driving with them on a cramped tour bus? I would need some serious drugs!

People who post here dont know whats up, these guys are keeping it real. Its hard work being an artist these days give em some props for being original.

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 11:10 AM

the requisite polaroid quality, looking up at the camera, social networking photo, matching am appy ripped black jeans. babies is the perfect name.

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 11:33 AM

what's up with comments being subject to blog approval?

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 11:35 AM

11-10 and what is so original about them?

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 12:49 PM

seems like the babies are crying about the mean little comments.
someone get the similac.

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 12:57 PM

Anything that Todd P is promoting is going to be mediocre at best. And 11:10, the only thing original about any of these bands is that they adhere to a strict "playing-shitty-is-a-good-thing" aesthetic.

I vote for abortion.

Posted by Nads | December 20, 2009 1:11 PM

The most original thing about Babies is their name. It differs in TWO ways from the name of late-70's pop-rock band the Babys (featuring future-Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain): (1) the definite article has been dropped, (2) teh spellin has been corrected!

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 1:30 PM

does this girl really need another shitty band that can't play

Posted by Anonymous | December 20, 2009 5:23 PM

the babies ? ... they sure do lack of idea when naming the band ... lol

Posted by Phone n Camera | December 20, 2009 8:03 PM

"I vote for abortion"

really, that's the joke you came up with?

well it's clear know all about mediocrity

Posted by Anonymous | January 5, 2010 10:04 AM

aaaaassssssssssssholes. what the fuck? it's a band and they play music, you go see it with your 5 bucks or you don't. why all the trash talking?

Posted by joey | January 5, 2010 3:37 PM

nothing wrong with this band. simple and catchy

I have heard about babies but never went to see the show. Well this time I think I will surely attend it. Let me know please about your upcoming shows. The name of the band is some what tricky but after all enjoyment of music should be the moto to visit such shows. Hope I will have a great time there!

The Babies had their much anticipated show on 19th december last year. I heard it was a wonderful show. I couldn't attend to it because I had another similar show to attend. Babies played a show with Gary War, Coasting, and Men and Women back then at Ash's Place. Ash's Place was 234 Wythe Ave @ N 4th St | Williamsburg, Brooklyn L-Bedford, JM-Marcy, G-Metropolitan. It was held at 8pm. The entry fees was $7 . Happily however it was for all ages. It was curated by Group Tightener & SHDWPLY. The last shows were conducted on Jan 6 in Glasslands W/Beach Fossils/Total Slacker/The Sundelles/True Womanhood Brooklyn.

If the parents are very supportive with their children's endeavor, no wonder kids will succeed in everything they do. The power here is love and support with no boundaries. Great kids indeed.

The whole Snow LP is pretty solid. And these guys easily sold out 3 NYC shows already.

^^^Maybe these are scalpers upset about the T5 addition?

I do enjoy watching these guys live. They have a great live show that gets better each time I've seen them.

Seems to me that if you want originality and creativity, stop cussing so much. That's just somebody else's created way for you to (badly) express yourself.

Looks like a great show! Sorry I missed it!!
