As a music industry writer he's a dime a dozen in that he thinks he knows it all and any dissenting opinion is shit worthless. But I'm sorry he's got this illness, just as I'd be sorry anyone gets gravely ill. I have sympathy for him as a fellow human. But it has to be said as far what he does for his work, he's just another music biz know-it-all.

Such dumb comments in this thread. 10:54, what's different about Lefsetz is that he himself often IS the dissenting viewpoint. He's eons ahead of the majority of colleagues in his age group as far as keeping a progressive industry viewpoint. I don't agree with all he says, but you can't say he doesn't put the music fans and artists first.
