Cro-Mags at Fun Fun Fun Fest 2008 (more by Tyler Nutter)
Cro-Mags

Cro-Mags (I guess they dropped the "Jam") will make their return to NYC on Dec 29th, almost exactly a year from one of the last times they played NYC. Tickets are on sale for the show at Santos which will feature RazorBlade HandGrenade "and more TBA".

Vocalist John Joseph is gearing up to release his second book, Meat is for Pussies, due soon via Punkhouse. In addition, look for John Joseph to become a reality TV star:

"Since the publication of Evolution, I've been getting some interesting offers for projects and have been able to develop some ideas. One of those ideas is a reality show where they place troubled kids in a house with me and I try and help them with the lessons I learned when I was in their shoes. A pretty big producer is involved so we'll see what happens." Joseph revealed. "Next week I will be speaking at a high school in Bushwick, Brooklyn to at risk kids who've been arrested and are in, or thinking about joining gangs. It's my way of paying forward the gifts I've received."
An old video and a couple of interviews with John Joseph (including an old one from MTV!) is below.

Dont deface my space. Stay in school kids.

No but seriously it would be tough growing up in Bushwick. Something 99 percent of us dont understand at all. To most on here its a place to go to warehouse shows.

I don't like my punk rockers trying to be martyrs and getting involved with "reality shows". I think I gonna go to this cromags show and vomit on their snare drum.
Why does he think he knows the answers about the best ways to be all straight and proper? He says he wants to help the kids, well then go donate some musicgear anonomysly and don't advertise to the world about how great you think you are.
punk rock legends my ass.

GREAT BAND ad great they're still going. the best part about the mtv clip, besides the out of nowhere freddy glove, is how JJ can't get a word in to save his live while harley pontificates about the spiritual state of the world. LOLz
