Jeff Beck

'Eric and I played together in Japan earlier this year and had a blast. Since then we have been in regular contact and talked about doing a similar show for our fans. Looking forward to the shows in 2010," said Jeff Beck.

"I've always considered Jeff Beck to be one of the finest guitar players around. He's a friend, a great guy, and a truly gifted musician. We had such a fun time in Japan that it seemed natural to play together again," said Eric Clapton.

Jeff and Eric will perform "perform together and apart" at the two previously-mentioned Madison Square Garden shows they're playing on on February 18 & 19. Tickets go on AmEx presale at noon.

Muse and Silversun Pickups are playing MSG in March.

Tickets also go on sale @ noon for the special Opeth show coming up at Terminal 5.

Tickets went on sale Saturday for the Drums/Surfer Blood show coming up at Bowery Ballroom.

A whole bunch of other shows recently went on sale too.

$254 each for decent seats. Um, no thank you.

the EC/JB presale was garbage, even worse than typical TM BS. server latency issues, inconsistent wait times, and then..inevitably..terrible seats with hiked face value..not even worse continuing to see how much TM fees added

i don't know why these people insist on dying their hair. (i'm looking at you, mick and sir paul. actually, i'm not, b/c you're superstars and i'm a regular schmuck.) it just makes their faces look even older and more wrinkled than they really are. looks like the shell of the fruit has remained intact while the inside has rotten.

Hey hipsters: after your favorite bands' musical careers last more than a few years, feel free to say Clapton and Jeff Beck should retire. You'll still be wrong.

Would love to see either of these guys play live.

But not from the rafters of a sports arena at $250-a-pop.

Clapton was only good with cream. His solo stuff was a lil wanky

He does look like a lesbo. He should be playing Lilith Fair, not the garden.

All kidding aside, he is one of the greatest guitar players of all time.

Jeff Beck = Nigel Tuffnel!

props to Jimmy Page....he who no longer colors his hair, and looks all the more badass for it.
And despite his lack of new music in over a decade, he's still the mother of them all (except for the dead guy who spells the name with one m and two i's.)

I agree with the person who thinks that guitarists who dye their hair have less talent as a guitar players. Dyed hair means bad guitar playing, its a proven fact. The hair dye permeates guitarists skulls and messes with their brain. Their eye hand coordination is impeded and in this way,all fretting skill is lost. The U.S.D.A. is considering a ban on hair dye, it is Satan's elixer.
