Though many made mecca to Miami to see Phish, Gov't Mule (Beacon), Soulive & Lettuce (Music Hall of Williamsburg), and Disco Biscuits (Nokia Theatre) all have New Years Eve Eve shows in NYC tonight (not to mention Dr. John and Knuma Trio at Highline Ballroom).

Since they didn't come back for a third New York NYE in a row...we are trekking to Boston to catch Mr. Brownstone at Paradise and uh...getting drunk. No surprise there.

The picks for NYE shows this year in NYC just suck. You can't beat Crystal Castles at MHOW followed by a 2am Mr. Brownstone show at Mercury Lounge. Just recovered from the hangover yesterday.
