Tickets are on sale for the kick-ass Haiti benefit the Bell House is throwing.

UPDATE: Haiti benefit tix were taken off sale. Going back on sale soon.
UPDATE: 2: They are back on sale through the above link, though they technically aren't. I'm confused.
UPDATE 3: the Haiti benefit tix are now also on presale. You need a password to buy them... unless you use the link above. very confusing. That is true about the password, but it's for a different event exactly one month later at the same venue.

Speaking of the Bell House, Mates of State are playing there on February 21st. Tickets are on sale for that too.

Tickets also recently went on sale for Rodrigo y Gabriela, Thermals, Spoon, Trey, Allmans, Shearwater, Midlake, Quasi, Kaki, Box Elders and many others.

Ticketweb is pocketing the service fees, or what?
They should be waiving the fees for this event or donating the revenue towards the cause.

Great attitude.

i'm with you 10:41. assuming the performers donated their talent, this price point is a little high. awesome line up, worthy cause, but still...

the ticketweb site is now working. True, $50 isn't cheap, but considering that most have (or will) make a donation of some sort given the gravity of what's going on, paying a little bit more to hear an amazing line-up seems like the least you could do.

The Walkmen and Michael Showalter have been added, and I've heard rumors regarding some really big names joining the bill. this would be well worth the price of admission even without the good feeling of knowing you're helping a nation in dire need of help.

Oh, and what about those question marks on Sunday's text in the concert poster below? No, that isn't saving a spot for a Smiths reunion or U2 debut on the Coachella stage, it's the way that Yorke presents himself as a solo star, the marquee at his Orpheum concert had the same punctuational flourish.
