Happy Holidays! I take on more than I can handle. That results in a lot of unposted content. In the name of catching up, while also taking it easy during this final/first week of the year, here's some of that lost material.

Butch Walker played Joe's Pub in NYC on December 4th, 2009. More pictures from his set below...

Seemed like a nice intimate night. Sometimes the greatest shows are low key, hanging out with friends type shows. These pictures capture that for me.

I love him too! The sweetest guy ever and such a great songwriter.

Oh I know this guy from a video I saw when he covered that Taylor Swift song, "You Belong With Me." That was a funny video. He did all instruments and sang the song from a guy's point of view too! Cool!

Guess 3:21 has a bit of jealousy huh?

...or perhaps 9:08, maybe the music just sucks. Or is this some kind of cult, where everyone must agree?

...hmm, in all fairness, my bad. I'd never heard of this guy. So I listened to a few tunes... this is just pop music, so, who the fuck cares? Why is this any different then all the other crappy pop music being turned out of the sausage machines?

I think reason people care is because he's been ahead of the curve several times over, and actually could care less about radio play, or pleasing the masses, and is not just pop music cranked out by the "sausage machines"

hi. my name is Anonymous. i post shit on message boards and blog sites, just to make myself feel important or even just "heard" because i have been pretty much ignored my whole life.. i don't want people to really know who i am because that would make me feel... ya know... weird. i wouldn't want anyone to know what i really listen to or what i am really like. that would be facing reality. this is easier.. i can sit behind a big laptop or desktop tower at an office cubicle and secretly wish i was doing what half of these artists had the guts to do, but alas.... i can do nothing... except complain. therefore, i am angry. so very angry... thank you Brooklyn Vegan... thank you for sharing my pain and insecurity with life.
