According to an email I got, "dirty projectors had to cancel this year despite appearing in the tibet house member newsletter". It makes sense since their show with an orchestra in LA is only one day later. That said, Iggy Pop is the latest confirmed Tibet House benefit show performer. He joins the previously announced list of performers that includes Gogol Bordello, Regina Spektor, Philip Glass, Baaba Maal, Patti Smith & Pierce Turner. Tickets for the February Carnegie Hall show are still on sale.

You can also catch Iggy at ATP this September.

Real funny 11:19... US hipsters do not have much sex. We get off on being pretentious, wearing plaid and other designated "hipster clothing." We also talk about Media funded topics and do not like individualism. Since we are insipid, this works well!

That's BS that DPs cancelled. Sigourney Weaver hosted SNL (in NYC) last Saturday night and then appeared at the Golden Globes (in LA) the following evening.

Oh, and what about those question marks on Sunday's text in the concert poster below? No, that isn't saving a spot for a Smiths reunion or U2 debut on the Coachella stage, it's the way that Yorke presents himself as a solo star, the marquee at his Orpheum concert had the same punctuational flourish.
