I heard Wyclef Jean is going to be there and him and Erykah Badu are going to sing medley's about 9/11 wherein they explained to white people what gang warfare is and why it doesn't effect them through dumping buckets of paint on dogs.

Selling vegan baked goods for Haiti? Wow. I'm sure the people of Haiti will appreciate all $7.41 you will raise. Way to go.

If we can have 180 Billion Dollars of US Treasury aid for AIG, tens of billions for Citibank, etc - one would hope the 100 Million (a tenth of a billion) pledged by our government thus far could be increased.

Honestly, I wish our budget was full of instances of generosity and giving, instead of precision-guided weapons, armaments, heavy artillery in far-flung places worldwide.

Still, all private giving is vital and very much a good think by all means in which funds are raised. Many wishes for quick relief to all survivors of the quake and especially those in serious medical need.

Thanks for mentioning the bake sale. Our last one raised almost $1,200. Here's hoping we do even better this time.

Ich kann nur hoffen, dass unsere Spende gut angekommen ist.

Oh, and what about those question marks on Sunday's text in the concert poster below? No, that isn't saving a spot for a Smiths reunion or U2 debut on the Coachella stage, it's the way that Yorke presents himself as a solo star, the marquee at his Orpheum concert had the same punctuational flourish.
