It's awesome that they are doing this show to raise money, but why not webcast the show too so the rest of us can watch too. I'd pay to watch. Raise even more money.

I was watching the golden globes and I saw some celbrities wearing Haiti relief pins. I was wondering where you could get theose pins. This will raise a lot of money! Good for them...I think a NYC show though would raise more!

Bandwagoners

this is a great idea, radiohead always is light years above every large band as far as decisionmaking, rather than doing a normal $50 show at small venue with a ton of acts, raise thousands per ticket and make a huge difference, awesome

They are playing Bowery Ballroom. Date TBA.

is ticketmaster charging and pocketing regular fees on these very expensive tickets? that would be very uncool...
Posted by hipster replacement | January 22, 2010 10:22 AM
^^ i wouldn't put anything past ticketmaster. it's actually smart doing this in LA. all the celebs will throw down tons of cash for these tix.
Posted by Anonymous | January 22, 2010 10:23 AM
right. at the current capacity (1300) and at the current ticket price (275), the boys will be bringing in $357,500 USD for oxfam.

Thanks to all who stopped by to shop and support Partners in Health's work in Haiti (www.pih.org). Since a proud Haitian-American first-grader at Starr King Elementary, Hayden Barolette, spearheaded the effort, that school had a big presence. Altogether we raised $1032!
