Sourvein

Sourvein has scheduled a new NYC show for 2/6 at The Charleston with Bezoar. The band is currently working on new material, and recently announced a new split 7" with Japanese greats Coffins on Forcefield Records.

Coffins are one of many who are signed up for Maryland Deathfest 2010, a lineup which was recently finalized (D.R.I. were the final band added on December 15th). Dig on the flyer below, and make sure to get your tickets for MDF.

Maryland Snorefest. What the fuck is up with all those tired ass metal bands? I saw Entombed like 72 times 20 years ago!

Coffins will steal the whole weekend.

Coffins aside the lineup isn't nearly as strong as last year. I still can't believe I didn't go last year and missed Bolt Thrower...who played TWICE! Fuck!!

uh...hello..do any of you idiots know who AUTOPSY are? perhaps some CAPITALIST CASUALTIES? fucking basement dwelling haters...go fuck your mother. esp the dude who says he saw ENTOMBED...you sir, are a fucking liar.

While there are some good bands, it's not anywhere as epic as last year.

The highlights are more of the mid-level bands than the headliners (minus autopsy, entombed and eyehategod)

@4:34 my point is that its sad that so many of the big names are bands that have been around for 20+ years.

If my memory serves me correctly the first time i saw Entombed was 19 years ago in 1991 when they played Bogart's in Cincinnati with Morbid Angel. I tried finding a show listing but cant so you can believe me or not, I don't care.

lol I went to x show thus making me y. What a toolshed.

MDF continues to be the only punk/metal thing worth going to in this shithole (if you don't count dudefest and chaos in tejas)

this year's lineup destroys last years, and last year's was bananas. portal?, melechesh? naxzul?, haemmorhage?
coffins???

bolt thrower was amazing though. both times ;)

John Waters should make a movie about MDF.

nothing boring about this lineup. you sir, are old and self-important.

Oh, and what about those question marks on Sunday's text in the concert poster below? No, that isn't saving a spot for a Smiths reunion or U2 debut on the Coachella stage, it's the way that Yorke presents himself as a solo star, the marquee at his Orpheum concert had the same punctuational flourish.
