@Anon4:46 - Are you kidding me? This kid is barely taller than his hi-hat cymbol and already his timing, power and feel are incredibly developed. By the time this kid is a teenager, he'll be world famous.

Anyone know anything about arcade fire tonight?
Posted by Anonymous | January 14, 2010 6:32 PM
you have GOT to be kidding me - not AMAZING? youre right - if he were a 28yr old professional drummer he's not great BUT FOR A 5YR OLD??!!! what the heck could any 5yr old do to that level that you know of???? dont think too hard - the answer is NONE.
whether he keeps up and stays playing ahead of his level is a moot point. at this age, he's mindblowingly on point

tanlines - 9
telepathe- 945
julian casablancas - 1045
(aka show up at 11 when jules will actually hit stage. opening bands suck HARD, trust me, from someone who has unfortunately seen both before)
Posted by Anonymous | January 14, 2010 7:46 PM
You called Julian Casablancas "jules" and you're wrote about both those bands
Posted by Anonymous | January 14, 2010 10:41 PM
That Ribot / Chaplin show was fantastic tonight.
Posted by Anonymous | January 14, 2010 11:02 PM
That kid is already a lot better than the drummers in most of these hipster bands.
Posted by Anonymous | January 14, 2010 11:54 PM
Were gonna miss you Julian. All the crazy nights, slow cars, bad champagne, crappy songs about stroking off and how fabulous your Jules L.A. & NYC lifestyle are. You Jules are a star of power.
