Doors for the benefit at Music Hall tonight are at 6:30. John Shade goes on at 8:00. Wyatt Cenac is after him and then Britt Daniel is on before 9:00. Leo Allen and Bobby Tisdale are co-hosting. The show is sold out and a lot of tickets are will call. Get there early (or have your tickets printed) to avoid waiting on line and missing someone.
Britt Daniel also plays a set at 7pm at Sound Fix Records.
As BBG previously pointed out, "Magrudergrind will team up with Defeatist, Black Kites, and Ramps to decimate Cake Shop today as part of our first hardcore matinee. $8 will get you in the door, although you may need a stretcher to get out." The show starts at 5pm sharp.
Two more nights to go to Monkeytown.

that party expo / glass door / japanther show got shut down by fdny about an hour after a girl got taken away in an ambulance from there

The truth is that the party expo got off with a warning. no one left in an ambulance. Someone called 911 twice to try and get the party shut down because he got kicked out. All in all it was a killer show and not the last one there!
