if a Ben Folds show was ever worth $65, that time has long since passed. oh, wow, the audience is singing different harmony parts for "Army." oh, wow, he's doing a Dr. Dre cover. oh, wow, he really needs to get back with Darren & Jesse

"Darren & Jesse" are the same person, otherwise known as Darren Jessee, drummer for Ben Folds Five and currently leader of the most excellent Hotel Lights. The bass player for BFF was Robert Sledge, and he was awesome. Fuzz bass, lead bass solos, and just amazing lines in every song.

But the gist of your post is true, Ben really needs to get back with the band. All reports from the one-off reunion show last year were positive.
