when they did simple life 2 - the road trip one, paris hilton went to spider house. I guess if its good enough for her, then...

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2010 1:59 AM

vegan bbq?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2010 2:00 AM

"vegan bbq?"

Working on it. This place is also a restaurant with vegan options, and I'm talking to them about what they can let us add to the menu.

It's also one of many BV SXSW events and we have lots of vegan food happening at a bunch of the events.

stay tuned.

"will the be free vegan food and beer?"

There probably won't be much free (besides 19 bands) at this one, but there will be specials.

Other BV parties will have open bars and free food still TBA.

"all brooklyn vegan does anymore is promote his own shows."

hmmm... sort of truer everyday. But, hey, it's your blog so you can promote all you want.

note slight set time changes on stage 3. updated.

Posted by brooklynvegan | February 26, 2010 5:34 PM

post updated with flyer. Also, Spider House is still working on the menu, but it looks like they're gonna just do tacos - non-vegan and vegan mushroom ones.

I wanted to come and intended to come, but there is no wheelchair-accessible parking in that area due to street closures and the nearest bus stop today is 9 blocks away.

I love Spider House! I didn't see this particular show but I've seen several there. If you get there early you can find parking; if you get there late (like I always do) I park across the street. They don't tow after 5 p.m.
