Deer Tick will be releasing a brand new album entitled The Black Dirt Sessions via Partisan Records on June 8, 2010. Cover art and full tracklist is below. Pictured above is Deer Tick's new full time lineup. You might recognize guitarist Ian O'Neil (top right) from his old band Titus Andronicus (he replaced the Tick's Andy Tobiassen).
Upcoming Deer Tick dates include SXSW (though no BV parties for them again this year), Coachella, April dates with Those Darlins, and then April & May dates with Dr. Dog which include that show at Terminal 5 (tickets). All dates, also below...

damn, i'll miss andy's guitar playing. he was a really great player. his on stage personality didn't seem to be much of a fit tho. can't count how many times i've seen him grab the mic and attempt to rap.

Amazing is an enormous understatement. One of the best electronic shows I've ever been to and I've seen well over a thousand concerts. I had no idea Vladislav Delay was as good a drummer & percussionist as he is- fabulous and he kept everything swinging with a very unique style of playing. If you missed this you missed out big time...

i was at highline and not williamsburg and the set list posted here seems to fit though I thought they only played 3 songs in the encore (definetely slush and take it in were two of them) though i could be wrong.
