Animal Collective at Guggeinheim....

oh wait it never went on sale

It might sell out close to the show date. It took a while for the first show to sell out and I think most people who would want to go bought tickets already. If it wasn't for the shitty venue, more people would want to go I'm sure.

Hah bullshit sellout to be sure. Don't you morons know how Bowery Presents works yet. The first show is far from sold out and this one will not either. You can be sure the week of the show there will be plenty of tickets suddenly available on ticketmaster not to mention a massive glut on craigslist for less then face.

Tix for Holly Miranda at Bowery Ballroom on May 26th went on sale today, too.

I'm surprised the flaming lips haven't sold out yet.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2010 12:53 PM

maybe they haven't because many people will go to NJ to see them in a more intimate venue without having to worry about rain or humidity

1:19, have you ever actually been to Wellmont? Calling that place intimate is like calling Terminal 5 intimate. This is not Bowery Ballroom dummy and not even Webster Hall to boot.

Frankly btw Wellmont and Summerstage, the best venue for this show is Central Park. Of course the outdoor setting can cause problems but hopefully good luck will prevail.

summerstage is one of the best places in this city

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2010 2:16 PM

the first show sold out quickly and the second one will sell out pretty soon.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2010 3:28 PM

1:26 if I had to choose between standing in line for over an hour to secure a good spot at Summerstage (yes I've been) than seeing them in an enclosed venue (yes, I've been to Wellmont) the choice is a no brainer.
Not saying Central Park is not a great place to see them, but point is it will take longer for them to sell it out
calling someone dummy because they don't share your point of view is just a giveaway of your immaturity and utter most ignorance when it comes to live shows

just got tickets for Central park, who said it was sold out?

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2010 3:55 PM

central park will take longer to sell out because it is a larger venue...
