Anyone know what time Laura Marling goes on tonight? LPR don't like answering their phones.

Tonight is Cobra Clutch at Moonshine (317 Columbia Street, Brooklyn). Host Josh Guarino is proud to welcome:

Sean Donnelly (Lil' Seany Show, Don't Touch Me There)
Nick Turner (Too Cool for School)
Mike Recine
Matt Wayne

Four beers in a cold bucket of ice? Six bucks. SIX BUCKS. You can't beat that, and you can't beat this night of comedic triumph.

See you there!

11:35, I think she goes on at 6:30. That's what the LPR website says. Her myspace says 7:30 though. Seems like it's an early one in any event.

11:42 -

The LPR website says doors at 6:30, show at 7:30, (but that's probably the opener). I'm trying to figure out if I have enough time to catch her show and then jet over to the Bell House for the Watson Twins around 10.

Jane Birkin was great last night. Super long set with some beautiful originals and some great interpretations of Serge Gainsbourg songs! Told some fantastic stories as well!

i thought it was pretty amazing that these bands brought everyone to their feet in Carnegie Hall. Everyone was there with good vibes celebrating an amazing culture that embraces compassion and tolerance. I have no complaints other than the 2 hipsters behind me who had a comment about everything that was wrong with the venue. Why go?
