Spinner: You had an EP out in October, produced by Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor. How did you team up with him?Below you'll find:Acrylics: Chris Taylor saw us play some shows, and we had some friends in common. He asked us to record initially one track that was going to be on a split 7-inch, and we got into it and recorded an EP. We had about a week to do it. We were in his church studio, which is a beautiful place to record. We had fun. We had been working on a whole record prior to that, and we're still working on that record, slowly. So it was fun that he gave us the opportunity.

Lissy Trullie! I thought she pawned her guitar, gave up this "I'm a musician" lark, and went back to her Twiggy-inspired modeling career.

IS LISSIY TRULLIE COOL?

Lissy Trullie has been playing music since she was 11... That means BEFORE she was even a teenager or going to art school or a being a model - If you could get off your ridiculous high horse and actually read an interview with her she talks about modeling as something she did for a second in college (she's 29y/o) and thinks it's a disgusting display of the sexism in indie music, mostly coming from men, who blow up the fact she modeled and use it as a reason to dismiss her.
I love her music and her. Not only is she an out lesbian but she's an out feminist too... Unlike you people.
