I love the pics you put up! That is great!

Well it is the only East coast show they're scheduled to play. And what's more, it's the first Hole show in like, 11 years or whatever. (Courtney never really played any solo gigs when her album came out, save for one very MESSY show at the Bowery... which was an awesome trainwreck!!)
So why is a sell out so surprising?
Posted by M | March 12, 2010 1:01 PM
Trainwreck voyeurs are a larger ticket demographic than anyone thought!

That's São Paulo, Brazil! We made it to BV! We finally matter!!

1:01 - 'cause this shit sucks rancid donkey balls. that's why it's surprising.

problem is you guys can't handle a balls to the wall woman... this chick is living your rock and roll day dreams... you just can't handle it... see article on courtney in mojo...

So basically Courtney Love guestlisted every NYC person on her twitter account?
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 2:00 PM
i want to stick my rod in that hole.

thats about the size of courtneys....

From "first Hole show in like, 11 years or whatever" and
"So why is a sell out so surprising?"
Because 11 years later of rust it's easy to become musically less relevant and for your schtick to become dated. Because time marches on even if your 90s collection of CD hasn't

2:36 - zing!

Well this isn't Live or Blind Melon. Courtney Love has stayed in picture these 11 years. (Forget "Hole"-- this concert will essentially be the "Courtney Love Show.") So while you may not be into this, it's clear that people are still interested.

People are also into Taylor Swift and the Back Street Boys. shows you what "people" know.
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 3:25 PM
Whew! ... good thing I'm commenting.
Hole fans are so predictable, listenig to Hole. I knew it!

"People are also into Taylor Swift and the Back Street Boys. shows you what "people" know."
You're right. I forgot. If an act is the slightest bit mainstream or established, they're shit. The "people's" tastes are inferior to ours.
I must have forgotten I was posting on Brooklyn Vegan for a second there. Thanks for the clarification, shithead.

Taylor Swift probably writes more of her own songs than Courtney does..
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 4:17 PM
I'd rather see Taylor Swift doing an evening of all Backstreet Boys covers than go see anything involving Courtney Love.
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 4:42 PM
Personally, I feel better knowing that 13-year old girls are listening to Taylor Swift & the Backstreet Boys over Courtney Love or whatever band BV assholes are championing at the moment. Don't you?
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 4:44 PM
Its fine to say that teens are listening to taylor swift. but the real question is.. who is listening to Hole? Def. not any teens. So who are the 30 year olds that are still interested? thats the mind boggling part.
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 5:20 PM
I don't think that Hole was ever a band for teens or tweens though.
Posted by M | March 12, 2010 5:24 PM
i still listen to Live Through This..i'd def go if it were someplace other than T5
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 5:48 PM
Hey thats great..pointless that someone brought Taylor guitar center thrown together studio band when no one cares. Courtney should not even be given two seconds to anyones day but hey just because he covered her doesnt mean BV likes her shady ways like brainwashing her daughter, plastic surgery, trying to screw over Nirvana members on music rights, and just being a pathetic skank.
I know someone from the past from Minneapolis who had the misfortune of courtney coming by to use their phone many years ago and she called all over the world and now he has trouble getting a phone because she rang thousands of dollars to call Europe.

i will be 30 in 2 months and love Hole, listen to them everyday.
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2010 5:57 PM
proving once again that T5 shows are populated with New Jersey guidos and surbanites who want to see this trainwreck play in a dress without undies. how many tickets did her management and label buy? im guessing tons to generate interest. this is a woman who has always became relevant by hanging onto others coattails. she is a blood sucking, money grubbing, piece of shit slut junkie who has only been out for herself her whole life. she's a terrible mother, widow and woman. no one cares despite her attempts to comeback

@7:33 You are wise. Do not forget though the Bowery Presents hijinks. Sold Out in BP world is not even close to a venue being sold out. There will be so many tickets to this available the week of the show it will be laughable.

free tickets to this will be easy to come by
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2010 10:56 AM
NOBODY should have to pay to see this band perform. they are not worth a penny. like the above commenter wrote there will be free tickets available. PLENTY of free tickets.
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2010 11:47 AM
is there a Wendy's near Terminal 5? I know Courtney likes to reach out to the homeless.
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2010 12:00 PM
i don't know, my daughter's 21 and she loves Hole from when she was a kid, she'd go see them...
Posted by Deb | March 13, 2010 3:27 PM
your daughter is a very lonely girl
