Terminal 5, really. There must be a better venue for you James. Also same nights as Pearl Jam. That sucks
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 1:24 AM
why don't you build him a better venue, you ignorant cocksucker?
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 1:41 AM

"Our ticketing system is currently unavailable due to routine maintenance. Please check back at a later time."
Sweet. Thanks, buttfuckers. Ticketmaster eats the world's dicks and then shits them out into overpriced tickets.
Posted by Larry Dallas | March 26, 2010 1:53 AM
i feel bad for the LCD soundsystem fans who arent up right now
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:00 AM
Beats LCD Soundsystem fans who are up and can't buy tickets because Ticketmaster is down, I guess.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:03 AM
got 2 for the friday night show...gonna be off the hook kids.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:08 AM

Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:24 AM
FUCK YOU Ticketbastard for being out of service!!!!
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:30 AM
FUCK YOU TICKETBASTARD I WANT MY LCD TIX NOOOOOOOWWWWWWW
Posted by Justin Leon | March 26, 2010 2:34 AM
Just because tickets went on sale at midnight, it doesn't mean they will sell out faster. Unless of course there are enough dumbfucks out there falling for this marketing ploy. I won't be seeing them at that shithole. That means more tickets for ignorant LCD Soundsystem "fans." Enjoy.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:37 AM
Now "Tickets are currently not available online."
They must have sold out when nobody could buy them because your garbage site was down. Never stop fucking yourself, Ticketmaster.
Posted by Larry Dallas | March 26, 2010 2:39 AM
ok. so where will you be seeing them at then?
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:39 AM
i'm so stoked that when tix go on sale ticketmaster doesn't work.
this is beyond weak. by the time i wake up this will be sold out.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:50 AM
"Terminal 5, really. There must be a better venue for you James. Also same nights as Pearl Jam. That sucks"
Fuck! Damn you, James.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:51 AM
Terminal Fail is worse than AIDS and Cancer combined, but yet I would STILL endure the complete FAGGOTRY that goes on there to see this band live
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:53 AM
this is a video of me not getting LCD tix

same^^
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 2:58 AM
I'll see them at a festival, out of town, at a summer venue or a small venue if they add a smaller show. Pretty much anywhere other than Terminal 5 and Roseland. If these will be the only NYC shows for this album (which I very much doubt), then I'm fine with not seeing them at all this time around. No one is worth seeing at Terminal 5.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 3:02 AM
They went up at 3 AM...scored 2 for Thursday
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 3:04 AM
What a moral conundrum: Kickass band playing the worst venue in the city. Buy a ticket? Wait for them to play somewhere better? The mind races.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 3:33 AM
Buy the tickets. Sell them at a premium. Pay for Camp Bisco tix. That will be the LCD show of the summer.
Got 4 for Friday.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 4:31 AM
Thank god I have insomnia and found this post. Scored 2 tickets to Friday night. Sweet deal, thanks BV!
Posted by Will | March 26, 2010 4:39 AM
can buy the ticket at midnight? really good.
Posted by process flow | March 26, 2010 5:03 AM
what's all the hate for terminal 5 based on? i saw Rilo Kiley there a couple of years ago and was at the very front. had a good view and the sound was decent.
oh, and fuck yeah for checking twitter at 5:30AM and getting tickets.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 5:45 AM
To those who are buying tickets for $41 and calling it a "score", Bowery Presents calls it the the same thing every time a dumbass buys a ticket to their shitty venue.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 6:38 AM
Buy the tickets. Sell them at a premium. Pay for Camp Bisco tix. That will be the LCD show of the summer.
THESE SEEMS TO HAPPENING EVERYWHERE, everyone is a scalper now, even the "FANS"!!!
THX scalpers, now we will all have to join $40 fan clubs just to go see our favorite bands!
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 7:34 AM
Not a fan of LCD but I agree with the hate of Termial 5. Venue is huge with poor sound depending on where you stand. Just a overpriced shithole.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 8:18 AM
I get the T5 hate and all but is anyone actually surprised they're playing there? It seemed inevitable.
Posted by mp77 | March 26, 2010 9:01 AM
am I the only New Yorker who....likes T5?
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 9:05 AM
T5 is ok in my book if you get a spot near the front of the stage!
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 9:21 AM
So glad Pavement and Broken Social Scene are smart enough to not play at T5....Seriously one of the worst venues in the world.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 9:22 AM
Really hope they schedule an outdoor show in the summer.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 9:33 AM
Thanks for the info BV.
I remember that when LCD launched "Sound of Silver", the first show was held at the Bowery Ballroom. Where's the love for the locals this time around? Please add a small venue, James.
Posted by Dan | March 26, 2010 9:33 AM
Bowery, Studio B and Webster..now T5 x 2 also twice the price!?
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 9:34 AM
the show at webster hall for sound of silver tour was incredible. ahhh the old Roxy!
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 9:37 AM
Score! Tix to the Friday show. Thanks BV!
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:06 AM
let me be the first to say, "FUCK T5"
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:09 AM
Wait, a band that's now big enough to billed right below the headliner at coachella, is playing terminal 5? I'm shocked.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:14 AM
Anon 10:14 - exactly. Be shocked about CocoRosie playing T5 all you want but there's no way LCD wasn't playing some large venue that would be complained about.
Posted by mp77 | March 26, 2010 10:16 AM
what are you sodomites bitching about now? you don't like T5? don't go! You like LCD? go see them wherever they fucking play. You don't have money for 35+fees tickets? then you are out of luck. It's always the same banter, it gets old already....
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:17 AM
2 Tickets for Thursday...No Problem...Seems weird that these arent gone yet.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:21 AM
will be soon, most people are not aware they went on sale yet and the buzz about the new single is just building up, as most links have been removed
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:23 AM

Larry Dallas is right about Ticketmaster eating the world's dicks and then shitting them out into overpriced tickets.
That said, LCD Soundsystem put on a good show. In for 2.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:25 AM
too bad studio b isn't open anymore...
for some reason I thought LCD was going to try and play santos, but t5 really does have awesome speakers.
also, why are people going nuts about getting up at midnight to order tix? I just got mine, right now, with no hassle.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:27 AM
T5 is more than 5x the size of the bowery ballroom.. LCD isn't going to book 10 nights at the bowery, and they aren't going to book 2 nights and lose out on thousands of ticket sales and the chance for more fans to see their show. T5 is one of the biggest concert venues in NYC next to MSG. Playing here makes sense..
They will mostly likely be back in NYC sometime over the summer.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:32 AM
they gonna play with Daft Punk in mah haus
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:51 AM
LCD over Pearl Jam?... hahahahahha.
Posted by Venkman | March 26, 2010 10:53 AM
i'll wait for a summer show with this one. can't handle t5.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 10:54 AM
$41 for T5? Thanks but no thanks.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 11:01 AM
@ 10:53, this isn't 1994 anymore.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 11:05 AM
it's a miracle this isn't sold out yet.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 11:42 AM
a miracle? dude.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 12:06 PM
12:06, haha.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 12:12 PM
Everyone who thinks this will not sell out, try laughing again at 5pm.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 12:16 PM
tix are always available day of so don't get twisted up about it selling out. the scalpers will by 40% of the tix anyway.
12:16 - glad you're laughing now
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 12:56 PM
Bogmen at Highline also May 20-21
Bummed i have to choose which one to miss, but would rather see Bogs or LCD than sit in the rafters at MSG for PJ.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 1:13 PM
this show is gonna be crazy. people forget that the new album drops like a week before the show. if it's half as good as "sound of silver" then this will be the show to attend, for hipsters and music enthusiasts alike.
Posted by Anonymous | March 26, 2010 3:47 PM
got 3 for friday this afternoon. tickets are still on sale..
Posted by lauren | March 26, 2010 4:13 PM
I just got an lcd tweet about 15 minutes ago & thought I was getting the jump on this. Little did I know that everyone's been buying tickets for the past 16 1/2 hrs.! Gotta say that I'm surprised that i was still able to get 2 for the Friday show just now.
Posted by treece | March 26, 2010 4:25 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 27, 2010 7:05 PM
^yes...that you are a n00b
Posted by Anonymous | March 30, 2010 12:40 PM
Got 4 tix to Thursday and also will see them at Bisco. T5 isn't great, but it isn't terrible... Studio B and Webster Hall shows were kick @ss last time around, I can't miss LCD no matter where they play. Saw Air at Term 5 few weeks back... definitely worth going, even if the venue is kind of a pain. Stop bitchin everyone... ironic sarcasm is done with
Posted by Anonymous | March 31, 2010 3:26 PM
Friday is sold out. Thursday will sell out today. Bet on it.
Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2010 12:35 PM
Looking to exchange my 2 tix for Thursday's show for two for the Friday show. Holler back!
