cold cave/north highlands show does NOT require NYU ID. strawberry fest does, however. :( sorry guys.

How neat, I didn't think they'd create much space on the river besides the bike/walkway. Let's hope for no car honking.

how can the Strawberry Fest be student only?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2010 3:09 PM

NYU only event that's outside? That makes me sad. I really want to see this fest.

SWANS reunion show

Last year I was fine going to Strawberry Fest, what kind of security are they adding?

Posted by Anonymous | April 5, 2010 3:51 PM

anon 3:51, feel free to come try to get in, but don't bet on it. students who organize these shows aren't in charge of security/adding security so we have no clue what new measures they're looking to add (if any). we just know we're not allowed to advertise it as a public event if it is, in fact, not. but, like i said, there's a good chance that they're not adding anything and you can get in.

also, it's totally Michael Gira spoken word.

Death in a cold cave June.

Just to clarify--

Strawberry Festival IS open to the public. nyu can't privatize a street, so everyone can come for the music. The only things that are NYU only include the free food, activities and games, and the strawberry shortcake, which nyu kids get using their nyu ids.

also, the show is free for everyone, nyu and non-nyu
