The Walkmen @ MoMA

"Some jackass made his way out of Johnny Brenda's after our show in Philadelphia with a handmade, custom built baritone guitar. Luckily for us we do have the show on tape and the face of our sticky fingered friend has been recorded. Any info out there to help us i.d. this person would be gratefully appreciated. Please let us know if you know anything. Thanks!" [Alec Ounsworth]The guitar was actually stolen over 2 months ago and it still hasn't been recovered. It belonged to guitar player Matt Sutton who will join CYHSY frontman Alec Ounsworth again as part of "Flashy Python" tonight (they're the opener) at the Bell House (4/1) with The Walkmen ("advanced tickets are sold out" according to the venue's website). The Walkmen recently played SXSW and before that MoMA... which I just realized we never posted pictures from. Those continue below...

The stolen guitar story is really sad and shitty.
And so is Alec's solo career.
