Freelance Whales @ SXSW (more by Dominick Mastrangelo)
Freelance Whales

Freelance Whales, who are one of the many artists on the recently-announced Lollapalooza lineup (and who were just at SXSW) (and who recently played on a subway platform), will celebrate the Mom+Pop/Frenchkiss Records physical re-release of their debut album Weathervanes by playing a set of music at Other Music in NYC on Monday, 4/12, at 8pm. The free show comes one day before their sold out headlining show at Bowery Ballroom which I have a free pair of tickets to give one lucky winner. Details below with more tour dates...

If this band was full of 12 year olds it would be awesome. But it has adults in it. Lemon now-N-later?

This is easily the worst, most over-hyped band I've ever heard. Easily.
