MGMT @ Coachella (sta.helena)
MGMT

MGMT, who recently performed at Coachella, are playing Fordham's Spring Weekend concert this Saturday, May 1st (12:30pm; 441 East Fordham Rd, Bronx) along with Average Girl and Penrose. The show is closed to non-students, but you can have a friend there (or a Craigslist creep) sign you in as a guest.

The band plays Bamboozle, which runs Saturday and Sunday in NJ. And they'll be on Letterman on May 11th, where they'll do a webcast-only set to be broadcast online earlier that night.

MGMT were on Saturday Night Live on April 24th. Videos from that and their full tour dates are below...

The opener for their show at Fordham is Average Girl, not Average World.

sales from their new album dropped 60% in week 2, the bubble has burst

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2010 3:47 PM

where'd you get the sales report 3:47? i believe people like you already detonated the bubble anyway. MGMT goes on....

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2010 4:29 PM

ha so they sold 35,000 this week? now after two weeks they've only sold 100,000 records....FAILURE

they should really be hanging their heads in shame, having made the exact record they wanted it, and now it only sells 100K copies in 2 weeks. NOT GOOD ENOUGH, WHERE ARE THE SINGLESSSSS??? LADIES?? AMIRITE??

Wonderful post and the location is beautiful and elegant in design and information and everything>>> to Favorites
Amazing is an enormous understatement. One of the best electronic shows I've ever been to and I've seen well over a thousand concerts. I had no idea Vladislav Delay was as good a drummer & percussionist as he is- fabulous and he kept everything swinging with a very unique style of playing. If you missed this you missed out big time...
