Converge at The Chance in Poughkeepsie
The eagle (that became vulture) has landed. Converge is in NYC, ready to play the now sold-out show at Santos TONIGHT (5/6) alongside Touche Amore, Lewd Acts, and Black Breath. Over the weekend Converge played The Chance in Poughkeepsie (on 5/2) with Thursday (who is not on the NYC bill). Pictures from that show (though Meghan missed the openers) below...

i dont listen to either of these bands but there is an interesting article in the most recent issue of Tape Op about the guitarist of Converge and his studio/recording methods (apparently he's produced a shit ton of punk records and is very in demand in that scene). definitely worth a read if you're into recording.
