Wednesday night’s $500-a-ticket Gala event (the afterparty was cheaper) at Capitale didn’t include any surprises (no on-stage collaborations or surprise guests), but it did include performances by Dirty Projectors, Doveman, Nico Muhly, and St. Vincent as advertised, and raise a lot of money for non-profit venue The Kitchen (whose upcoming events include two talent shows curated by Robert Melee).
