Gary Coleman=

"Gary Coleman has died as the result of injuries he suffered earlier this week, the hospital tells TMZ. We're told Coleman died at 12:05 PM Mountain Standard Time. He died of a intracranial hemorrhage. Family members and close friends were at Coleman's side when life support was pulled. He was 42. As TMZ first reported, Coleman was rushed to a hospital in Utah after he fell and hurt his head. He was on life support since Thursday. There will be a press conference at the hospital at 3:00 PM PT." [TMZ]
Gary is finally at peace.

Coleman was born in Zion, Illinois. He was adopted by Edmonia Sue, a nurse practitioner, and W.G. Coleman, a fork-lift operator.[1] He suffers from a congenital kidney disease caused by focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (an autoimmune destruction and alteration of the kidney), which halted his growth at an early age, leading to a small stature (4 ft 8 in; 1.42 m). He has undergone two kidney transplants, one in 1973 and one in 1984, and requires daily dialysis.

Coleman secretly wed his girlfriend of five months, Shannon Price, 22, on August 28, 2007.[2] They met on the set of the 2006 comedy film Church Ball.

On May 1 and 2, 2008, Coleman and his wife appeared on the show Divorce Court to air their differences in front of Judge Lynn Toler.[3] Unlike regular Divorce Court participants, they appeared on the show with the intent to save their marriage rather than adjudicate a separation.
Health

Coleman suffered a seizure on the set of The Insider on February 26, 2010. Dr. Drew Pinsky, who was with Coleman at the time, assisted him until paramedics arrived.[4]

On May 26, 2010, Coleman was admitted to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, after falling and hitting his head[5] and suffering an intracranial hemorrhage at his home outside of Salt Lake City, UT. He was announced to be in critical condition. [6] By mid-morning on May 27, 2010, Coleman was conscious and lucid. By mid-afternoon on May 27, 2010, Coleman was unconscious and on life support.[7] On May 28, 2010, it was announced that he is still unconscious and on life support.[8] He passed away in the afternoon of the same day. R.I.P. but to be honest, Gary never seemed to be able to find happiness or tranquility in adult life. It's sad that his last national, public media appearance was him on Entertainment Tonight (or one of those types of shows) talking about how he was sick of hearing about the suffering of Haitians after the earthquake and then storming off the set.

One of my co-workers said that the same thing happened to Bret Michaels, but I had to explain to her that he and Gary Coleman had different strokes.

EYES ON DUDLEY

Gary's parents were his worst enemies, exploiting his brief star status and squandering every cent he owned. No wonder he was bitter and angry for so long. May he finally know peace.

I guess you could say he had a short life.

Posted by Anonymous | May 28, 2010 5:21 PM

You come, you live you die - Coleman dude I know what domineering parents can do, and it's easier said than done, anything always is. You'll find peace now.

I'm going to pay attention to head injuries more now. My Mom slipped and fell and hit her head, she lived, but barely, and before that was Robert Culp, and before him so other celebrity, head injuries are a bitch.

Not fair-how come Rodney Allen Rippey gets to live while Gary doesn't?
