Gary Louris @ Truck America (more by Alexandra Marvar)
Gary Louris of the Jayhawks (who are playing three nights in a row in their hometown of Minneapolis in June) played the Truck America Festival earlier this month (NYC Taper taped it) and kicked off a short tour in Cambridge, Massachusetts last night (5/13). That tour continues to Le Poisson Rouge in NYC tonight (5/14). All dates below...

Jayhawks are amazing live and Gary Louris solo is not too bad either. His show at Zankel with Olson was a highlight last year. Can;t wait for the Bunkhouse release and hopefully a Jayhawks show in NYC soon. I wanted to atten Louris tonight but will not be around! Enjoy all who are going tonight!

In his band tonight, G Whizz (Autumn defense), Kraig Johnson (of Golden Smog and Run Westy Run) and Joseph Arthur, and Dar Williams!. NICE!
