Anyone else getting a blank screen for Pavement?

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:03 PM

$90 after all the Ticketmaster nonsense for 2 tickets to GB/Walkmen is harsh. Worth it, but damn

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:04 PM

got my pavement tix!

And GB/Walkmen totally not worth it when there are two great FREE shows the same night.

$100 for two Pavement tickets? Fuck that shit.

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:09 PM

ditto on blank screen, hit the browser's stop button and the rest of the page should show up. I love you, ticketmaster.

Thanks BV got my GB/WMen/GGD tix.

@12:10 Thanks for the tip, I can't believe that actually worked.

'$100 for two Pavement tickets? Fuck that shit.'

more like $105. TM elbows in one last $5 'processing fee' at the end. They never miss a chance to kick you in the nuts.

Pavement is 50 bucks per after service/convenience charge. Is there a physical location for Pavement tickets to avoid the "convenience" of that rip-off?

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:16 PM

If pearl
jam can't stop tivketmaster nobody can. :( one of the evils of the world --the bands/venue/promoters don't benefit just stupid ticket master. That said I totally just gave them $ for that grizzly show. Damn it

Yes, but you must have Secret Knowledge of the Backroads.

It's funny how we still complain/act surpried about ticketmaster yet they never go away. They were there last summer for animal collective and here again for grizzly bear and pavement.

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:24 PM

ticketmaster > pearl jam

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:25 PM

Thank you Ticketmaster, I can afford 1 show per year.

Pavement $50??? I paid $10 back in 1992 to see Mr. Malcimus...f**k 2010 prices.

Posted by Heavy Street | May 21, 2010 12:34 PM

All the money I save on illegally downloading albums just goes to Tmaster. Nobody wins

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 12:34 PM

It's pretty funny that someone who would go out of their way to say they saw the singer as opposed to naming the band would do so & spell his name wrong in the process.

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 1:01 PM

I was but a fetus in 1992

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 1:05 PM

"I paid $10 back in 1992 to see Mr. Malcimus"

$10 to see a fake Steve Malkmus...sounds like a great deal!

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 1:11 PM

@12:34...who are you, Encino Man?? Prices increase, deal with it!

I just saw pavement at ATP in Minehead, making the 3600 mile trip specifically for it. They did not disappoint. In fact, they were better than I expected.

$50.00 is not too much.

Oh yeah, Quasi won the weekend with one of the best sets ever.

@1:13 Classic!

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 1:58 PM

no good shots of Brobee!?!?! you've changed!

Posted by Anonymous | May 21, 2010 3:45 PM

In 1992, music was expensive and concerts were cheap...now it's the other way around.

Now that Live Nation and Ticketmaster are one and the same they will be an even more unstoppable force.

Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie were really good albums. Got them when they came out, still throw them on at times and think they're great. It saddens me when I hear bands from that era when I was a teenager and hear their new stuff and it's so clear how they've lost it, they sound desperate to recapture a sound/magic that they haven't had in 15 years (holy shit).... And then I realize that is not unlike a lot of us.
