More details as they become available." [East Bay Express

Posted by Anonymous | May 6, 2010 9:39 AM

Posted by Anonymous | May 6, 2010 9:56 AM

yet another band that will be remembered only by their mothers in five years

Posted by Anonymous | May 6, 2010 10:22 AM

@ 10:22 wtf do you listen to? muse? u2? seriously, most of us have an attention span and remember relevant stuff

Posted by Anonymous | May 6, 2010 10:23 AM

I haven't seen sleep since about '94 at the i-beam in sf. 16 years ago. why would i forget in 5?

Posted by Anonymous | May 6, 2010 10:28 AM

i this interview with noise creep

matt says outright that they are playing new york, los angeles, austin, san francisco, portland, chicago

no clue if when he says new york he means ATP

haha, 10:22, you are too funny, you are also an idiot. these guys are remembered and will be remembered for many years to come while your band (if you have one) will end up in the used/cut out 7"/CD bin along with all the other broken dreams and records of young, white, affluent indie rockers.

10:28 I was at that show! Didja catch any of the gigs they played with Hawkwind that year? Stunning. I'm one crazy mother that won't forget. That said, without Chris its not a real reunion.

I didn't realize that the drummer wasn't playing until these comments. Thanks for mentioning it 9:39

yes, bring them to the city... and bring sunno))) and boris...

Posted by Anonymous | May 6, 2010 2:23 PM

I think the drummer went back to religion or some crazy shit of that nature. Would prefer if Chris was present but Jason from Neurosis on drums it should still be a solid show.

as much as i love neurosis and think their drummer is great, this doesn't seem like much of a reunion. a little bummed it's not all 3 members.

2:53 -
doesn't the drummer play in Grails now?

I will go see any band that Matt Pike is in.
I also like the other guys bands.
But I will be there in Austin if Pike shows.

I'd travel to see the whole original line-up, but I'd only go within NY to see Sleep with the drummer from Neurosis (who I am sure will be absolutely great in his role).

@11:47, original Sleep and Om drummer Chris is afaik out of the music scene now. current Grails drummer Emil Amos is now also part of Om w/ Al.

I'd love to see Sleep at Mercury Lounge or something small... anything but festival circuit.
