The National

As I was saying, The National taped a performance on Letterman yesterday before heading to the High Violet Annex. They brought Sufjan along to both events. The video from Letterman, which aired last night, below...

What an angry National fan.

Please don't blame "Bro" and "Dude" ...they are harmless terms of endearment and have nothing against or for The National.

I love their new record.

the national sucked on letterman. i got bored and switched to leno who had jakob dylan. that also sucked so i went back to letterman hoping it would pick up. but it still sucked. then i went to kimmel because howard stern's whore was on. but she wasn't on yet. ryan phillippe was on and that sucked. so i turned off the tv and masturbated.

Build 'em up, knock 'em down. They have the last laugh getting and deserving this exposure, um, nationally. Quality music.

The lyrics of that song are almost exactly in tune with Letterman's life.

I love how everyone goes nuts about Sufjan being in this and no one even mentions Sean Lennon.
