The show was on arcadefire.com last night, but isn't there any more.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 9:09 AM

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 9:09 AM

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 9:57 AM

Show on sale now on ArcadeFire.com...

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 10:04 AM

Why are you guys even bothering? This band sucks now. Classic example of a band who'se heads have traveled way to far up their own asses.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 10:19 AM

too bad I will be away that week, I just tried with that code and plenty of GA tickets available

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 10:26 AM

Ahhhhh, THE NEW U2 IS BACK! Win-nie the Poop and his band of merry Wo-Men are here to steal your money with some sincerely insincere anthems!

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 12:33 PM

The Arcade Dire. Ugh.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 12:35 PM

"Why are you guys even bothering? This band sucks now."

Take off the "now" and you've got it right.

OMG I loathe the Arcade Dire.

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 12:37 PM

Example of a "heavy" Win-nie the Poop lyric:

"MTV, what have you done to me? / Save my soul, set me free!"

A ha ha ha ha ha.

OMG I hate this band of pretentious cretins.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 12:42 PM

I wish I could be a bitter hipster who only hates the bands that succeed but AF is too good to let that happen

Posted by matt | June 23, 2010 12:44 PM

Arcade Dire are "good" compared to what?
A toothache, maybe.

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 12:55 PM

In BV: The Movie, the Arcade Dire/Twent Weznor guy will be played with sweaty urgency by Wallace Shawn

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 1:06 PM

ignore him. he'll go away, eventually.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 1:10 PM

Arcade Dire Guy: they're good as in the kind of good band that headlines festivals and plays venues like MSG. Not to say that every band who does that is good but it must mean they're doing something right

Posted by matt | June 23, 2010 1:12 PM

You know you're successful when: anonymous nobodies shit hate for your band in the comments section of BrooklynVegan.

Posted by soysalami | June 23, 2010 1:26 PM

More like PART GAY CHOIR

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 1:35 PM

I think FART GAY CHOIR is better than POO2

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 2:06 PM

Either one is a Win-Win...get it?

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 2:15 PM

"MTV, what have you done to me? / Save my soul, set me free!"

Oh man, that one kills me every time!

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 2:35 PM

"Arcade Dire Guy: they're good as in the kind of good band that headlines festivals and plays venues like MSG. Not to say that every band who does that is good but it must mean they're doing something right."

The Captain and Tennille sold a lot of records and played big halls as well. Doesn't mean anything when it comes to artistic worth.

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 2:37 PM

thats why I said "Not to say that every band who does that is good" but I wouldn't go and comapare C&T to Arcade Fire

Posted by matt | June 23, 2010 4:13 PM

Mmmm.... Nothing like a cold glass of Haterade on a hot summer day.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 4:29 PM

The C&T had more charm than Winnie the Poop.

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 4:52 PM

Will Winnie rhyme "MTV" and "SVU" on his suburbian concept album?

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 7:11 PM

I meant SUV, of course.

as in

"They watch MTV and they drive SUVS / Save me, save me, from the SUBURBAN zombies!"

Posted by Arcade Dire Guy | June 23, 2010 7:20 PM

1:06 -- got your medical insurance paid up?

Posted by ADG | June 23, 2010 8:10 PM

"they're good as in the kind of good band that headlines festivals and plays venues like MSG...it must mean they're doing something right."

Yes, and cheap porn outsells tickets for the opera, and McDonald's does more business than Chez Panisse, and Limbaugh squawks to larger audiences than NPR can draw, and always and forever hateful lying drivel everywhere drives out the good and the thoughtful, and only idiots equate attracting the huge audience of morons in America with accomplishment.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 9:04 PM

Part Gay Choir is the best name....Arcade Dire = lame.

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 9:34 PM

wow, all the hate, so f*ed up. Here is a band on a small INDIE label who is going to sell out 2 nights at Madison Square Garden. That's awesome, we should all be thrilled by this, the idea that sometimes good music can cut through the crap, and the fact that a band on MERGE has done this, there is nothing but good about this!

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2010 10:01 PM

"only idiots equate attracting the huge audience of morons in America with accomplishment."

yes I think attracting the crowd in the first place is an accomplishment when they were once an indie band playing the back of bars. But thats what happens when the world realizes you are too big for the room-they dismiss you and pretend you were only good on your first album

Posted by matt | June 23, 2010 11:48 PM

"only idiots equate attracting the huge audience of morons in America with accomplishment."

Tell me bout your great accomplishments? Flunk out of college? Congrats!

Posted by Anonymous | June 24, 2010 8:12 AM

OMGOMGOMG I hate the Arcade Dire!

Posted by Anonymous | June 25, 2010 6:57 AM

6:57 I hate you and your lame jokes!

Posted by Anonymous | June 25, 2010 7:28 AM

Arcade Dire. Ugh. Puke.

Crap Music For Cretinous People.

Posted by Anonymous | June 25, 2010 10:09 AM

More FAUX ANGST and PSEUDO PROFUNDITY from WIN-NIE THE POOP!

Posted by A-D-G | June 25, 2010 10:13 AM

Wonderful post and the location is beautiful and elegant in design and information and everything>>> to Favorites
Amazing is an enormous understatement. One of the best electronic shows I've ever been to and I've seen well over a thousand concerts. I had no idea Vladislav Delay was as good a drummer & percussionist as he is- fabulous and he kept everything swinging with a very unique style of playing. If you missed this you missed out big time...
