They did sell out Terminal 5 last October. That was a 3k venue and Radio City is about 6k capacity. And they are only growing in popularity so it is possible

Court tavern was the spot where these dudes started?

wow. this is more far fetched than xx at united palace. good for them, though. these guys are salt of the earth, honest rock & roll dudes. i wish them the best.

really for real? This whole article has to be a typo. Must mean Webster Hall, unless Radio City is refering to some town in the mid west.

A seated Gaslight Anthem show at Radio City? uh no thanks. I wish these guys the best, as they are great guys and their show at Webster last year was spectacular, but I can't see this working at all.

they sold out T5 only a few days before, so i really don't see this happening... and their debut album got a lot more press than their newest album. even so, they were great at bonnaroo. glad i could see them and the xx somewhere not seated.

This just in: Arcade Fire, The XX & Gaslight Anthem announce show in soon to be built arena on Staten Island that will hold the remaining 4 boroughs. Should be enough room.

5:52 - what about New Jersey? Please don't forget everybody from New Jersey. Better make the arena bigger.

What in the world is bowery presents thinking? They'll be lucky to sell out the orchestra.

I love these guys, have seem them tons of tons including last night at Irving Plaza and wish them all the best. This seems like a mistake though. Also, not really feeling the new album.

Whoa! Awesome! Radio City is one of the best venues (sound wise) in the whole city! I was bummed I missed the Irving show last night but I'll totally be at this one!

3rd balcony wasn't quite full, but there were more than 5k people there.
Although it should hardly be a surprise that Brooklyn Vegan commenters are morons.
