"And it worked. Over the last 10 years, Goldfrapp has built up quite a cult. The [DC show at 9:30 Club] was sold out and a few devout fans even showed up wearing blonde wigs. Over an hour and a half set Goldfrapp changed costumes--musical and otherwise--a few times, putting a digital spin on pretty much every genre that has ever aspired to fabulousness--including glam-rock, disco, and a few Bond-theme-worthy ballads. It was a familiar sound with a futuristic finish."Speaking of cults, Cults are on tour with Goldfrapp and they opened last night's show at Hammerstein Ballroom (6/23). It's like their 3rd show ever, and they're doing a tour with GOLDFRAPP? Playing Hammerstein?! That's ridiculous.

fun show. the band, especially given the costumes, remind me of fleetwood mac. goldfrapp is very stevie-esqe. the band's drummer is awful and should be replaced with a drum machine. i had fun. 3 stars.

Too bad the photographer only got pics of her first outfit. There were some other good ones! Fun show, too.

And from the above that I left...the show was very good. My friends and I had a good time, I even bought both $30 shirts - where else are you going to get them.

How on Earth does she read that small print? Plus, is she just looking down at lyrics the entire time?

Great show! Oh la la crowd response was so much fun. Glad you got a good photo of that guy with the white glasses. We tried, but it came out too dark.
