is spiritualized worth $150 for two tickets?

No.

I remember Spirtualized open for Radiohead at Radio City back in 1998?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 11:11 AM

i just payed 100 for two tickets. and its a pretty big production, people got to get paid.

I saw Spiritualized at the 9:30 Club in DC back in '02 & I've got to say, I thought it was one of the worst shows I've seen. I wasn't really down with Jason Pierce standing sideways & facing the wings the whole night, never acknowledging his audience & warbling his way through songs. Maybe that's just his thing, or b/c he was on drugs at the time, but I didn't dig it & I won't ever see them again.

Just my two cents.

J Spaceman has been doing that since Spacemen 3, though, so it's his thing.

got tix for the national and the pumpkins. pretty excited for both

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 11:28 AM

T5...hoo-ray!

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 11:29 AM

I'd rather pay $60 for Spiritualized @ Radio City than almost any band at Terminal 5.

Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space is the greatest drug album of all time.

That Black Keys fan looks like Kevin Bacon cira-Footloose. And seeing Smashing Pumpkins line now, is like looking at that poor injured horse on the ground thats ready to be shot.

"got tix for the national and the pumpkins. pretty excited for both"

You are a pathetic and sad person

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 12:00 PM

Not a fan of The National nor the new Pumpkins, but 12PM seems like the real pathetic and sad one here.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 12:05 PM

MMJ tix still available. I thought scalpers would be all over these.

Posted by Venkman | June 14, 2010 12:17 PM

The Spiritualized is going to slay. I'm so stoked.

Moreover, is Spin trying to retroactively try to justify its pitiful existence with this show?

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 12:19 PM

12:17 - I don't know that I'd want to spend $200 to go to T5 all week. The shows will sell out individually.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 12:30 PM

the '02 SPZ tour was kinda weak, but the last two tours ('03-'04 & '08) were incredible.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 12:36 PM

The 5 day pass will be 5 single day tix. The scalpers could have just got the 5 day pass today and sold each one individually.

Posted by Venkman | June 14, 2010 12:36 PM

"Not a fan of The National nor the new Pumpkins, but 12PM seems like the real pathetic and sad one here."

Logic only another pathetic and sad loser could come up with.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 12:39 PM

Yeah, umm...I'm going to be all tied up seeing My Morning Jacket all week, so...

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 1:25 PM

"The 5 day pass will be 5 single day tix. The scalpers could have just got the 5 day pass today and sold each one individually."

Is this confirmed? Does anyone know for sure how the "pass" actually works?

12:00 and 12:39: Vote #2 that you are the sad and pathetic loser.

Having a tough time deciding whether to buy tickets for Spiritualized or not. I like that it's at Radio City, I like the album, I like that it's a big show, but one of my friends said they were awful when she saw them live.

The rest? I really like a lot of those bands but not enough to endure Terminal 5 for those prices.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 1:33 PM

hmmm, nope, definitely nothing good here

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2010 2:05 PM

Spirtualized are great live right now. Youtube some of the ATP performances - see for yourself.

I just went to purchase Spiritualized tix at the RCMH box office to avoid the $25 in service charges but was told that they go on sale via Ticketmaster first and then they sell 'whatever's left' at the box office starting tomorrow. That.is.so.lame.

I have seen Spiritualized 7 times since the 1st ladies & gents tour & they never disappoint. Who goes to one of their shows & expects J to dance around like a dick onstage? He does not ramble between songs (like some musicians) to not change the mood of the set, duh. I have spoken w/ him several times in person & he is as humble as they come.

I just pulled row AA 300's Orchestra for Spiritualized on Friday! Which is like the 5th row after the pit...this show will be empty!

Posted by Anonymous | July 28, 2010 2:59 PM

It is shameful how empty the place is going to be.
